There are four types of missions:
Normal (yellow) missions: These missions are the basic ones.
Courses (green) missions: These missions are simply courses you have to pass. Sometimes there are modifications to them (speed mods,etc).
Blue missions: These missions are usually fun to play. Usually you are supposed to miss the arrows you are supposed to confirm (ie. Step only on yellow and red arrows)
Special (red) missions: You have to clear all special missions to be able to continue to another area.
Last mission is white. The song is MAX 300(Super-Max-Me Mix) on challenge. You have to get 8 million on this song. That wouldn't be such a problem if it wasn't on reverse and 1,5x (how original..I was afraid that this would be the case).
Hidden missions (can have any color): These are missions you have to unlock by succeeding at both normal and "hint" requirements. But there are three hidden missions you can unlock only by buying a hidden selection from the shop.
Also hidden mission are marked with an exclamation mark. That makes them easier to find.Some other blabla
Any time the screen shows you that you have new items in a shop you should go there and check what the item is. If you want you can by the hints and then accomplish them. If you don't want to buy them or you are too lazy to divine what it actually says you can continue on reading this page (I don't know how easy is to divine something written in japanese. Seems easy to me, but I can also read japanese.)Hint 1: Get 40 greats or more.(A-05)
Hint 2: Get grade AAA. (A-06)
Hint 3: Get grade A or higher. (B-05)
Hint 4: Get exactly C grade. (B-24)
Hint 5: Get exactly 100 points.(B-26)
Hint 6: Play till the end of the course. (B-37)
Hint 7: Get more than 70 perfects.(B-51)
Hint 8: Get a full combo. (C-05)
Hint 9: Get more than 80 greats. (C-11)
Hint 10: Get exactly 10 combo. (X-08)
Hint 11: Play the course till the end. (C-16)
Hint 13: Get a full combo. Get OK on all freeze arrows. (C-19)
Hint 14: Get A or better (X-09)
Hint 15: Get exactly 77 max combo. Get less than 4 misses.(C-20)
Hint 16: Play the course till the end. (C-25)
Hint 17: Get OK on all freeze arrows. (C-29)
Hint 18: Get at least 8,5 million points.(C-35)
Hint 19: Get dance level A (D-14)
Hint 20: Get less than 4 goods. (D-16)
Hint 21: Get a dance level AA. (D-18)
Hint 22: Get a full combo. (D-19)
Hint 23: Get at least 7 million. (X-16)
Hint 24: Get a full combo and OK on all freezes. (X-18)
Hint 25: Get a full combo. (X-19)
Hint 26: Get at least 80 goods. (X-20)
Hint 26: Finish the song with less than 5% of life
Hint 27: Get at least 8 million. (D-26)
Hint 28: Get at least 800 combo. (D-27)
Hint 29: Get dance level AA (D-32)
Hint 30: Get more than 220 points. (D-29)
Extra Arrows: There are 30 missions that contain one extra arrow in a stepchart. You cannot see the arrow and you have to reveal it. You have two possibilities: you can buy extra arrow hints or you can try to find them yourself (quite difficult when you don't know where they are. But usually they can be found where you get the extra arrow hint.). If you step on it a green number will appear on one of the white stationary arrows. Missions containing hidden arrows are marked (after you buy the hint or you reveal the arrow by yourself) with purple small arrow.
